Ten things that are Important in Recounts

Welcome to my blog! Rautaki, my writing buddy and Me have listed 10 things to include in a recount.
This was a recap activity to make sure we fully understood what to use in our writing.

It was easy to do the first few reasons because all the ideas were new and fresh in my head. To challenge myself next time I will narrow down my think into more specific ideas.

It was hard to think of ideas near the end because we were under pressure of the time left and were running out of ideas.

My next step is to list things down faster with more specific ideas because I can't write as fast as my buddy Rautaki, Yet...

Anyhoo,
Things to include🠟

  1. Use correct tense (Past, Present or Future) In this case you will write Past

  2. Detailed/descriptive Words/ paint a picture in the reader''s mind.

  3. Correct punctuation (in the right place for the right reason). (.,/?*&%!@`~)

  4. Language features (Alliteration, similes, Onomatopoeia, Metfores)

  5. Paragraphs, Correct places.

  6. Include Senses (Felt, Tasted, Smelt, Heard)

  7. Editing. (make sure it makes sense)

  8. Full sentences so they make sense.

  9. Who, what, where, when and why should be explained in the story.

  10. Use emotions, how did it make you feel...

My Writing goal: to Write faster and more quality at the same time.
